Kevin Michael Smith is a Vermont-based Artist and Photographer, originally from the Hudson Valley, NY; specializing in real estate photography, product photography & cannabis photography.

Along with his commercial photography work, Kevin Michael's photography and videography focuses primarily on the intricate patterns found in nature and in day to day life. Kevin Michael is also a painter, and pen & ink artist. 

In his painting practice, he often utilizes intuitive drawing and imagining techniques; drawing from phosphenes and visuals present in meditative states to create lively drawings and acrylic paintings. Being someone with Chromesthesia (a form of Synesthesia causing sound to be perceived as colors, patterns or textures; along with being perceived audibly), sound, and its shape and texture also have a heavy influence on Kevin Michael's work.

Kevin also creates realistic perspective pencil and ink drawings of places that have been foundational or important in his life.

Kevin has over five years of freelance photography experience, shooting commercial & residential real estate listings; events, sports, and product photography. He has also held two apprenticeships with practicing Artists, and has worked as a Photography Assistant for several Sports and Event Photographers in the past. Kevin Michael also studied Photography at Purchase College, School of Art & Design for three years.
